Once in a while my family likes to have an Asian tea experience. We have a tenmoku set of teapot and cups with matching tray and even strainer - all in the rainbow color scheme. This one fits perfectly into our set.HOW THIS COMESThis comes in a beautifully padded case which has a fancy hook closure on it. That means that it is protected from falling and is a great place to store it until ready to use.COLORSThe colors are BEAUTIFUL. They are rich, intense, and have a beautiful peacock feather overlay on this in a translucent white.FLOWERThere is a gold lotus flower on the bottom of these cups. It looks really pretty when the tea is in the cup. There are slats in the flower which allow the tea to pass through it.FLAVORThis tames tea down just a bit removing bitterness somewhat like other similar tea cups do. It is very tasty and nice.HOT?I was not sure if this would keep my fingers from getting hot, but it works great. You only fill it about halfway to three quarters at the most, but this allows you to hold the top with no issues.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is a gorgeous tea cup.
