Jianzhan ware is a very famous Chinese Traditional Pottery.The name tenmoku comes from (Tien Mok, Tian Mu) which means 'heaven eye'. The Japanese use it a lot in tea bowls.Jianzhan wares are from Jianyang town in Fujian Province. They became popular during the Song Dynasty and were prized throughout China, Korea and Japan.
